2018 Preorders – October / November / December

As you know, I’ve been trying to reduce the number of books I buy each month so I’ve also cut down on my pre-orders. However, there are a few upcoming books that I don’t want to miss out on so couldn’t resist ordering.

Muse of Nightmares – Laini Taylor

Muse of Nightmares

Strange the Dreamer was one of my favourite books of last year and, after recently finishing my re-read, I am so excited for Muse of Nightmares. I decided to get the Goldsboro signed edition to match my copy of Strange the Dreamer. I also have the Illumicrate special editions pre-ordered.

Sky Song – Abi Elphinstone

Sky Song

I adored this MG fantasy and this signed, limited edition looks fantastic. It even includes a map on the reverse of the jacket. Waterstones still have some in stock too.

What If It’s Us – Becky Albertalli & Adam Silvera

What If It's Us

I loved the ARC of this one so much that I immediately pre-ordered the signed edition from Indigo. If you like YA contemporary then you need to read this.

The Devil’s Thief –Lisa Maxwell

The Devil's Thief

The Last Magician was one of my favourite reads of the summer so I had to pre-order the  Barnes & Noble exclusive edition when it was announced. It will include original artwork of Esta and Harte as well as a short story from a new character.

Six of Crows – Leigh Bardugo

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

Who could resist this stunning collector’s edition of Six of Crows?! It’s going to have six full-colour character portraits and an author letter. I pre-ordered mine from Amazon.

Kingdom of Ash – Sarah J Maas

Kingdom of Ash

I can’t wait for the final book in the Throne of Glass series after that brutal cliffhanger in Empire of Storms. I chose the Indigo exclusive edition as it has fanart endpapers which I love.

At the moment I don’t have any books pre-ordered for November. However, there are a few I’m eager to buy such as Becoming by Michelle Obama, Fire and Blood by George R.R. Martin, and Skyward by Brandon Sanderson.

Queen of Air and Darkness – Cassandra Clare

Queen of Air and Darkness

All of Cassandra Clare’s books have been on my TBR for such a long time. When I saw the Waterstones exclusive edition of Lady Midnight, I pre-ordered it straightaway. I did the same with Lord of Shadows and can’t wait to add Queen of Air and Darkness to my collection.

A few books I would have pre-ordered are going to be in upcoming subscription boxes so I haven’t added those to the list as I don’t want to spoil the boxes for anyone. Are there any other upcoming releases I should be considering?

Me too. It looks so gorgeous! I love when they include fan art in books.
