Favourite Audiobooks
I love listening to audiobooks, whether it’s before I go to sleep or when I’m audio-colouring. I use Audible as it links to my Amazon account and you can often get cheaper audiobooks when you’ve already purchased the ebook from Amazon.
Here are a few of my favourites, in case you’re ever on the lookout for a new audiobook:
The Harry Potter Series – J.K. Rowling
Narrated by Stephen Fry
Stephen Fry has one of the most soothing voices ever so I love listening to the Harry Potter books before going to sleep.
The Wonderful Wizard of Oz – L. Frank Baum
Narrated by Anne Hathaway
Anne Hathaway is absolutely great on this audio. It’s incredibly fun and her different voices are brilliant.
Anne of Green Gables – Lucy Maud Montgomery
Narrated by Rachel McAdams
Rachel McAdams is perfect for the audio version of Anne. She produces just the right amount of whimsy and intelligence.
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society – Mary Ann Shaffer & Annie Barrows
Narrated by Paul Boehmer, Susan Duerden, Rosalyn Landor, John Lee, and Juliet Mills
The different narrators really bring this epistolary novel to life. I fell in love with the book all over again
Narrated by Trevor Noah
This is a brilliant book narrated by the hilarious Trevor Noah. I can’t imagine anyone else being able to do this justice.
