Festive Christmas Book Tag
Today’s prompt for Top Ten Tuesday (hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl) is a freebie so I’ve decided to do a Christmas book tag. I first saw this one over at Kristin Kraves Booksย but it was originally created by GirlReading.
๐ A fictional family you would like to spend Christmas dinner with. ๐
I’d love to spend Christmas with the Weasleys at the Burrow. Apart from the magic and Molly’s delicious food, the family always have such a great time together.
๐ A bookish item you would like to receive as a Christmas gift. ๐
Any bookmarks from Fiction Tea Designs would be incredible. Top of my list are Fairytale, Faerie Crown, and Daughter of the Dark.
โ๏ธ A fictional character you think would make a perfect Christmas elf. โ๏ธ
Jupiter North from Wundersmith would make a great elf as he’s full of fun but also capable of mischief.
๐คถ Match a book to its perfect Christmas song. ๐คถ
All I Want For Christmas Is Youย by Mariah Carey would be the perfect song for Alex and Henry fromย Red, White & Royal Blue.ย Plus they would totally sing it during karaoke.
๐A book or fictional character you’ve been disappointed in (should be put on the naughty list). ๐
I hate criticising any book as I know how much time has gone into writing it but I was disappointed byย The Orphanage of Godsย when I read it earlier this year.
๐ A book or fictional character you think deserves more love and appreciation (should be put on the nice list). ๐
I wishย The City of Brassย got as much love as some other fantasy books as it’s absolutely incredible.
โ๏ธ A book cover that has a wonderfully Christmassy feel to it. โ๏ธ
The Dollmaker of Krakowย has a beautifully wintry cover.
๐คถA book or series you love so much that you want everyone to find it under their Christmas tree this year. ๐คถ
I am always recommending the Winternight Trilogy by Katherine Arden so would definitely buy this as a Christmas gift.
This tag was so much fun so please consider yourself tagged if you’d like to take part.
