Festive Christmas Book Tag
Today’s prompt for Top Ten Tuesday (hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl) is a freebie so I’ve decided to do a Christmas book tag. I first saw this one over at Kristin Kraves Books but it was originally created by GirlReading.
🎄 A fictional family you would like to spend Christmas dinner with. 🎄
I’d love to spend Christmas with the Weasleys at the Burrow. Apart from the magic and Molly’s delicious food, the family always have such a great time together.
🎅 A bookish item you would like to receive as a Christmas gift. 🎅
Any bookmarks from Fiction Tea Designs would be incredible. Top of my list are Fairytale, Faerie Crown, and Daughter of the Dark.
☃️ A fictional character you think would make a perfect Christmas elf. ☃️
Jupiter North from Wundersmith would make a great elf as he’s full of fun but also capable of mischief.
🤶 Match a book to its perfect Christmas song. 🤶
All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey would be the perfect song for Alex and Henry from Red, White & Royal Blue. Plus they would totally sing it during karaoke.
🎄A book or fictional character you’ve been disappointed in (should be put on the naughty list). 🎄
I hate criticising any book as I know how much time has gone into writing it but I was disappointed by The Orphanage of Gods when I read it earlier this year.
🎅 A book or fictional character you think deserves more love and appreciation (should be put on the nice list). 🎅
I wish The City of Brass got as much love as some other fantasy books as it’s absolutely incredible.
☃️ A book cover that has a wonderfully Christmassy feel to it. ☃️
The Dollmaker of Krakow has a beautifully wintry cover.
🤶A book or series you love so much that you want everyone to find it under their Christmas tree this year. 🤶
I am always recommending the Winternight Trilogy by Katherine Arden so would definitely buy this as a Christmas gift.
This tag was so much fun so please consider yourself tagged if you’d like to take part.
