June 2018 Fairyloot Unboxing – Rebels In Ballgowns

A very kind friend bought me the June Fairyloot which was themed Rebels in Ballgowns. I was so excited for this box as the sneak peeks looked great. This post will obviously contain spoilers so please stop reading if you don’t want to know what was in last month’s box.

First up was this exclusive ‘Corvere’ candle by Geeky Clean. Inspired by Nevernight by Jay Kristoff, it smells of strawberry and pepper. It’s not a scent I would have chosen but I actually love it.

Fairyloot revealed there would be a cushion cover in this box which turned out to be an exclusive design by Miss Phi featuring a quote from Legendary by Stephanie Garber. I especially love the tarot card detailing around the edges.

My favourite item was this exclusive July-December reading journal designed by FictionTea Designs and featuring quote art by Stella’s Bookish Art. The photos below show some closeups of the layouts and quotes. I can’t wait to use mine and I was so pleased to hear that another one will be included in the December box.

The next item was this masquerade necklace from Team Fairyloot. I don’t wear much jewellery but it’s a great design that suits the theme of the box.

Another item was this exclusive set of magnetic bookmarks inspired by Shatter Me and designed by Taratjh. I haven’t read this series yet but these will be great for when I finally do.

This exclusive ‘Looking Awesome’ iron-on patch designed by Ink and Wonder is stunning. I’d love a way to display patches other than clothes though. An extra item was this Sea Witch sampler poster with a link to a giveaway for an early copy of the book. Of course, I entered straightaway as I can’t wait to read it.

The book this month was Grace and Fury by Tracy Banghart. The hardback was a Fairyloot exclusive as only UK paperbacks are being produced and subscribers also received it a month before release date. Additionally, there was a signed bookplate, author letter and postcard. It sounds really great so I can’t wait to read it this month.

As you can see from this unboxing, the June box was packed with goodies. I’m subscribed from July as the next few books are signed with sprayed edges, which I can’t resist. I think I’ve guessed the book and it sounds brilliant. The theme is The Power Within and spoilers have revealed it will include a magic ceramic mug and exclusive non-paper items from Little Inklings Design and KDP Letters. What did you think of the June box?

    Your unboxing photos are gorgeous!
I love the candle, but I wouldn’t have picked it up myself so I was pleasantly surprised.
