May Shelflove Unboxing – Written In The Stars
A few people have recommended Shelflove Crate because of the high-quality goodies so I decided to try a one-off May box to see what all the fuss was about. It cost about £35 shipped to the UK.

First up were these starry fairy lights which are cute but I know I won’t use. There was also a pocket mirror with artwork of Maya from The Star-Touched Queen designed by Diana Dworak. I absolutely love Diana’s artwork and this is no exception. I just wish it was on something other than a pocket mirror.
Next up was some scented Stardust bath crumble from Behind the Pages. I prefer showers but my sister will love this. I love candles so adore the beautiful Rattle The Stars candle inspired by Throne of Glass and created by Novelly Yours. The colour is perfect and the scent is gorgeous without being overpowering. The bonus item was a Cress trading card which is part of a series of cards inspired by The Lunar Chronicles and designed by Kat Adara (who also did the theme art for this box).
The big item in this box was a stunning pillowcase inspired by Stardust and designed by Ink & Wonder. I love everything Ink & Wonder and a woodmark with this design would be beautiful. I like my bedding matching though so not sure if this will actually get used.
This month’s book was Brightly Burning by Alexa Donne, a Jane Eyre retelling set in space. I’ve been eager to read this book so was pleased to find it included. There was also an author letter and signed bookplate.
I definitely agree with those that praise the high-quality goodies included in Shelflove. Unfortunately this time they were items I probably won’t use (except the candle which I adore). I think it was definitely good value for money though and I would certainly try another one-off box in the future.
