With only two months left until the end of the year, I’m starting to panic about completing my reading challenges. I still need to read 3 books for Litsy A-Z, 2 books for the Litsy Reading Challenge, and 4 books for Read Harder. I’ll be trying to read as many of these as I can this month.
The Bedlam Stacks by Natasha Pulley
I bought this a while ago from Foyles because of its beautiful cover. This is my first Natasha Pulley novel but I’ve heard a lot of good reviews about her writing. I’m reading it as part of a Litsy buddy read.
Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide by J.K. Rowling
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by J.K. Rowling
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Original Screenplay by J.K. Rowling
Harry Potter Chapter a Day is almost at an end and I’ve enjoyed it so much. It’s been rewarding taking my time exploring the series slowly whilst making notes. These are the final three books to read.
Notes from a Small Island by Bill Bryson
I didn’t get around to this last month but, hopefully, I’ll get it read soon. It fulfils the prompt of a travel memoir for the Read Harder challenge.
Talking to the Dead by Harry Bingham
This month’s choice for Litsy Whodunit sounds like a crime novel I’ll love. It has great reviews on Goodreads too.
Zorro by Isabel Allende
I needed a book starting with Z for the Litsy Reading Challenge and this seemed the most interesting. Fingers crossed I enjoy it, as reviews are mixed.
To the Bright Edge of the World by Eowyn Ivey
I’ve chosen this for the letter I of Litsy A-Z. I loved Eowyn Ivey’s first novel so I’m eager to finally read this.
If I manage to read these, I’ll still have five books to read in December to finish my challenges. This is totally do-able…
