Six for Sunday: Books Set in Schools

#SixforSunday is hosted by Steph at A Little But A Lot and you can find the upcoming prompts for the second half of the year here.

The prompts for September are themed around back to school realness and today’s is books set in schools.

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry

Harry Potter by J. K. Rowling

I imagine Hogwarts will be on a LOT of lists today but who didn’t want to go to magic school after reading these books?!

The Poppy War by RF Kuang

Sinegard Academy

The Poppy War by R. F. Kuang

An elite military academy that’s definitely a bit more lethal than Hogwarts.

The Red Church

Nevernight by Jay Kristoff

A school for assassins that’s as deadly as it sounds.

Wundrous Society

Wundersmith by Jessica Townsend

The mystical wundrous society helps students grow their very special talents (unless you’re a dangerous Wundersmith, of course).

Sweet Mercy Convent

Red Sister by Mark Lawrence

Dedicated to the worship of the Ancestor, Sweet Mercy trains its students in a range of mystical subjects.

Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan

Camp Half-Blood

Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan

I’m classing this as a school since it trains demi-gods in numerous skills.

What are some of your favourite books set in school? Another one I loved when I was younger was Malory Towers by Enid Blyton.
