Six for Sunday: Characters Who Deserve Their Own / Another Book

#SixforSunday is hosted by Steph at A Little But A Lot and you can find the upcoming prompts for the first half of 2019 here and for the second half here.

The prompts for June are themed around bookish wishes and today’s is all about characters who deserve another (or their own) book.

Thyon Nero

[Strange the Dreamer Duology by Laini Taylor]

I fell in love with Thyon during Muse of Nightmares and really want to see how his story develops, especially a certain relationship.

The Marauders

[Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling]

The adventures of James, Sirius, Remus and Peter at Hogwarts would easily fill another book. If I can’t have all of them, I’ll settle for one told from Remus’s POV.

The Scorpio Races - Maggie Stiefvater

Puck and Sean

[The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater]

I’m completely happy with this as a standalone but I’d read anything Maggie Stiefvater writes about Sean and Puck on Thisby (and Corr and Dove, of course).

Winternight Trilogy by Katherine Arden

[Winternight Trilogy by Katherine Arden]

I’d love to know more about Morozko, especially his life before we first meet him. Even some snippets from his POV during the trilogy would be fantastic.

All the Characters

[The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon]

I want more of this world and all the characters so fingers crossed we get a sequel or spin-off of some sort. It’s such a richly detailed and complex world that the possibilities are endless.

[A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness]

Gallowglass deserves some happiness so I’d definitely buy a book purely about him, especially if it contains the possibility of a romantic relationship.

Next weeks prompt is baddies who deserve their own story so definitely join in if this sounds like an interesting topic.
