Top Ten Audiobooks

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can find all the information and upcoming prompts over on her blog. It’s such a fun idea and I love reading everyone’s posts and adding to my book wishlist.

This weeks prompt is an audio freebie so I’ve decided to list some of my favourite audiobooks purchased from Audible UK.

Anne of Green Gables – L.M. Montgomery
(Unabridged | Narrated by Rachel McAdams)

The Guernsey Literary..– Mary Ann Shaffer & Annie Barrows
(Unabridged | Narrated by Various)
*This particular edition is no longer available on Audible UK*

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz – L. Frank Baum
(Unabridged | Narrated by Anne Hathaway)

A Christmas Carol – Charles Dickens
(Full Cast Dramatisation | Various)

Pride and Prejudice – Jane Austen
(Unabridged | Narrated by Rosamund Pike)

The Scorpio Races – Maggie Stiefvater
(Unabridged | Narrated by Steve West & Fiona Hardingham)

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone – J.K. Rowling
(Unabridged | Narrated by Stephen Fry)

Dead Until Dark – Charlaine Harris
(Unabridged | Narrated by Johanna Parker)

Dracula – Bram Stoker
(Full Cast Dramatisation | Various)

Treasure Island – Robert Louis Stevenson
(Full Cast Dramatisation | Various)

I don’t listen to many audiobooks as I tend to fall asleep when I do as it’s usually late at night. If I drove more or had a long commute, I definitely would though. I’ve had a few recommendations lately but would love some more must-listen audiobooks.

I think if you listen to a few audiobooks each month then definitely as they always have some great daily deals. Quite a few of my purchases have been really cheap after buying the kindle version first as well.
