Top Ten Favourite Characters from the Harry Potter Series
Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can find all the information and upcoming prompts over on her blog. It’s such a fun idea and I love reading everyone’s posts and adding to my book wishlist.
This week’s prompt is a character freebie so I’ve decided to list my favourite Harry Potter characters. All images are from Pottermore.
HERMIONE GRANGER – Harry would have totally failed without the help of Hermione who is clever, loyal, and brave.
LUNA LOVEGOOD – Her eccentricity is matched only by her intelligence and open-mindedness.
MINERVA MCGONAGALL – Another highly skilled and capable witch who refuses to take nonsense from anyone.
REMUS LUPIN – Lupin was always my favourite Marauder as he had such a hard life yet never lost his innate goodness.
GEORGE WEASLEY – I love the Weasley twins but George always seemed the quieter one so I felt more drawn to him.
HARRY POTTER – We wouldn’t have a series without Harry so I can’t let him fall too far down the rankings.
DOBBY – Who doesn’t love the brave and loyal Dobby? All he ever wanted was the freedom to make his own decisions.
RON WEASLEY – The trio wouldn’t work without the comic relief of Ron. He’s probably the most relatable too as he sometimes struggles to be as selfless and heroic as Harry and Hermione.
NEVILLE LONGBOTTOM – A true Gryffindor, Neville has one of the best character arcs of the whole series.
GINNY WEASLEY – The book version is brave, funny, and formidable. She’s definitely a force to be reckoned with.
