Top Ten Tuesday – Books By My Favourite Authors I Still Need to Read

I’ve finally decided to join in with Top Ten Tuesday as I always see so many amazing bloggers taking part. It’s hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl and you can find all the information and upcoming prompts over on her blog.

This week’s prompt is:
Books By My Favourite Authors That I Still Need To Read

All the Crooked Saints – Maggie Stiefvater
Tower of Dawn – Sarah J Maas
Night of Cake and Puppets – Laini Taylor
Vicious – VE Schwab
The Book of Dust – Philip Pullman

Macbeth – Jo Nesbø
Pieces of Her – Karin Slaughter
A Pocketful of Crows – Joanne Harris
The Surface Breaks – Louise O’Neill
The Summer of Impossible Things – Rowan Coleman

All of these authors have written books that I loved which usually means I buy their new books as soon as they’re released. For some of these, I pre-ordered special editions or paid extra postage to get them on release date. Yet I still haven’t read them and I don’t know why! I have a sneaking suspicion my HUGE pile of unread books has something to do with it though. Also, I sometimes put off reading a book until nearer the release date of a sequel or keep it until I want to read a particular writing style.

Do you have any books by your favourite authors that you still haven’t read yet?

A Pocketful of Crows and Surface Breaks are both excellent! I hope you enjoy them when you get to them.

I’m sure I will as both authors are so good!

I haven’t read any of these books before, but The Summer of Impossible Things sounds interesting! I tried to read the Daughters of Smoke and Bones series but wasn’t really hooked by it. I might try it again someday though.

If you haven’t read Rowan Coleman before, then I’d highly recommend her books!

I really want to read it as soon as I can. I’ve heard it’s a bit different but I’m sure it will be great!
