I loved all the questions it asked about genetic modification. It’s also fast-paced and I love the characters.

I read a LOT of V.E. Schwab last year – she’s amazing. I need to read the rest of her backlist. I also want to re-read Illuminae and Gemina so I can finally read the third book.

I love Illuminae Files so much! Can’t wait for Aurora Rising. I only read the ADSOM trilogy but have Vicious and Vengeful on my TBR.

  3. Harker DeFilippis

Amie & Jay are two of my favorite authors of last year because of the Illuminae series. It was simply an amazing series for me, whether reading the physical editions or listening to the audiobooks.

Thank you so much for saying that! Your account was one of the reasons I started bookstagram so it means so much to me. I didn’t expect to love the Shadowhunter books as much as I did but I’ve become completely obsessed. 😂

Your photos are absolutely gorgeous! I have only read Illuminae but I own the series. It is one of the series I plan on finishing this year. I’ve also read Brandon Sanderson, have you read The Rithmatist? It is so good, I highly recommend it. I’ve also V.E.Schwab but I’ve only read This Savage Song but it wasn’t my favorite. I definitely want to give her another chance.

The Percy Jackson series is one of the series I really want to start. I plan on reading it with my oldest.

Thank you so much! 😊 I haven’t read The Rithmatist but I’ve added it to my list. I hope your oldest enjoys the Percy Jackson series. It’s something I would have loved if I’d read it when I was younger.

OK so a lot of these are on my TBR! I really need to get round to them, especially if they were good enough to make your top ten 🙂
