WWW Wednesday: 05 June 2019

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On A World of Words. All you have to do is answer the three Ws and leave your link on the on the main blog.

What are you currently reading?

I’ve just begun Invisible Women by Caroline Criado Perez as my non-fiction read and its exploration of the gender data gap is fascinating so far. I’m almost finished The Princess and the Goblin by George MacDonald on Serial Reader and I’m nearing the end of the audiobook of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

What did you recently finish reading?

I finished Hunting Evil by Chris Carter last night and gave it 4 stars. Fans of the Robert Hunter series are sure to love it. Before that, I borrowed The Buried Girl by Richard Montanari from my local library but I was a little disappointed by this one and definitely prefer his Byrne & Balzano series. I also recently finished We Hunt the Flame by Hafsah Faizal which I loved.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I don’t have a fixed TBR list for this month but I’d quite like to read The Merciful Crow by Margaret Owen and Rose, Interrupted by Patrice Lawrence before they’re released next month. I do also want to read Sanctuary by V.V. James as I’m considering a book box featuring it next month and want to know whether I enjoy it first.

What books have you recently read that you’d recommend? What’s on your TBR list for this month?

I loved Rose Interrupted, it’s really emotionally tugging in a good way I immediately went and picked up Indigo Donut after it!!
