WWW Wednesday: 06 January 2020

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On A World of Words. All you have to do is answer the three Ws and leave your link on the main blog.

What are you currently reading?

I’ve just started my reread of The Handmaid’s Tale as my library hold of The Testaments has finally come in. I’m also dipping in and out of Ghosts of the Shadow Marketas while as my current non-fiction read, Shakespeare by Anthony Burgess.

What did you recently finish reading?

I recently read an ARC of Blood Countess by Lana Popović which tells the tale of Countess Elizabeth Báthory. I enjoyed the beautiful prose and engaging plot and it’s definitely whetted my appetite for learning more about Countess Dracula. Before that I read Twas the Nightshift Before Christmas and Queen of Air and Darkness.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Next up will be The Testaments, then I think I’ll continue tackling my ARCs starting with All the Stars and Teeth and The Unspoken Name.

What are you currently reading? Are there any books you’ve recently finished that you’d recommend? What’s up next on your TBR?

I’m loving it so far. It’s great discovering all this new information about the characters, especially those that will feature in the Last Hours. Plus Jem and Tessa are amazing as always.
