WWW Wednesday: 07 August 2019

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On A World of Words. All you have to do is answer the three Ws and leave your link on the main blog.

What are you currently reading?

I’m about one-third of the way through The Ten Thousand Doors of January and I’m completely in love with it so far. I’m also working my way through Shakespeare’s Sonnets and listening to Nevermoor on audible.

What did you recently finish reading?

I’m taking part in ARC August so recently read Loki: Where Mischief Lies and Dead VoicesI was disappointed with Loki as it didn’t really add anything new and was also a bit messy. Dead Voices wasn’t as creepy as Small Spaces but was still a great MG horror. Red, White & Royal Blue is a new favourite of mine and is the perfect LGBTQ romance for the summer.

What do you think you’ll read next?

The next three ARCs on my list are Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir, Kingdom of Souls by Rena Barron, and The Beautiful by Renée Ahdieh. With all three being fantasy, I might possibly end up reading a quick contemporary or crime in between.

What are you currently reading? What have you recently read? What’s next on your TBR list?

Oooh, I love Nevermoor! Hope you’re enjoying it. You got an ARC of Loki: Where Mischief Lies?! 😮 Don’t mind me. I’m just sitting here pretending not to be jealous. xD Shame that you found it disappointing, though. I was interested in Dead Voices, and I’ll probably read it eventually, but I didn’t love Small Spaces. I’m looking forward to reading Gideon the Ninth, too! It sounds sooo good. Hope you enjoy. Happy reading!

I loved Nevermoor and Wundersmith so wanted to try the audio. It’s fantastic so far. My friend actually sent me the Loki ARC. 😊

I loved Nevermoor as well and I hope you are enjoying the audiobook version! Its too bad about Loki – it looked so good. I am really drawn to 10,000 Doors of January – I’ll look forward to seeing your thoughts when you are finished.

The audiobook version is incredible so far. I’d highly recommend it. I just finished 10,000 Doors and it was incredible. It’s a book any bibliophile will love.

How are you finding Kingdom of Souls? I need to get it read this month so I can decide whether to get the Goldsboro edition!

I also thought Loki was disappointing. It could’ve been so much more, but I don’t think Lee was the right person to write it.
I’ve heard great things about Gideon the 9th and Dead Voices looks nicely creepy.

I’m glad I’m not the only one! I’m really enjoying Gideon so far. Took a while to become invested but addicted now.
