WWW Wednesday: 16 January 2019

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On A World of Words. All you have to do is answer the three Ws and leave your link on the main blog.

What are you currently reading?

My main read is an ARC of The Ruin of Kings by Jenn Lyons, a fantasy released next month. I’m enjoying it so much that I’ve already pre-ordered the Goldsboro exclusive edition. On Serial Reader, I’m currently reading Charlotte Brontë’s Shirley. My current audiobook is The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. This is one of my favourite books and the audio adaptation is so good.

What did you recently finish reading?

The last book I read was His Bloody Project by Graeme Macrea Burnet. It was this month’s Litsy Whodunit choice and I was gripped by the innovative narrative. It’s easy to see why this was shortlisted for the Booker. I’ve also just finished The Cruel Prince, The Lost Sisters and The Wicked King. Like almost everyone else, I loved them.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m taking part in the blog tour for Jane Harper’s The Lost Man next month so that’s next on my TBR. I loved her last two books so can’t wait for this one. After that, I’ll probably read my ARC of The Familiars by Stacey Halls as I’m tempted by the Waterstones exclusive edition and want to see whether it’s worth buying. My next non-fiction read will be Becoming by Michelle Obama after my library hold finally came in.
