WWW Wednesday: 17 June 2020

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On A World of Words. All you have to do is answer the three Ws and leave your link on the main blog.

What are you currently reading?

I’m almost at the end of The Last Confession of Thomas Hawkins by Antonia Hodgson, an interesting historical mystery. As part of Sandhya Menon’s street team, I’m also re-reading four chapters a day of the wonderful YA contemporary When Dimple Met RishiMy current non-fiction read is the accessible and engaging Natives by Akala.

What did you recently finish reading?

My most recent read was Boy Queen by George Lester, released this August. It’s a fabulous coming-of-age story for the Drag Race generation. Before that I continued with the Charlie Parker series by John Connolly, this time reading The White RoadI also read an eARC of Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia and will be sharing my full review on the 30th (spoiler: I loved this creepy and weird Gothic horror).

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’ve got a TBR list I’m sticking to for this month so next up are eARCs of The Crowns of Croswald by D.E. Night and The Court of Miracles by Kester Grant, and an ARC of Stormblood by Jeremy Szal.

What are you currently reading? Are there any books you’ve recently finished that you’d recommend? What’s up next on your TBR?
