WWW Wednesday: 20 January 2021

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Taking On A World of Words. All you have to do is answer the three Ws and leave your link on the main blog.

What are you currently reading?

My main read is Safe and Sound by Philippa East. It’s a gripping mystery exploring how a 26-year-old woman could have been dead for ten months without anyone knowing. I’m also reading The Hunchback of Notre Dame on Serial Reader and listening to the audio of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

What did you recently finish reading?

I recently finished Winter’s Orbit by Everina Maxwell, which is a gay romance set against a backdrop of intergalactic politics. It’s very slow-burn but worth reading. Before that I read a memoir called When Force Meets Fate by Jamison Hill. It details his struggles with ME/CFS articulately and in harrowing detail. I also recently finished Love is for Losersa YA contemporary released next month in the UK.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m planning to reread The Infinity Courts next as I’m taking part in buzz week at the beginning of Feb and I’m creating some aesthetic boards for this stunning story. Then I might read Hall of Smoke and Ariadne, two ARCs I have on my TBR pile.

What are you currently reading? Are there any books you’ve recently finished that you’d recommend? What’s up next on your TBR?
